just to make a statement because I see the confusion. when I and I say things like that it does NOT mean the I still doesn't follow and practice many things within the bible.

the thing is. these stories these histories and these ideology are NOT exclusive to the bible. Bible teachings (the ones worth paying attention to) are found anywhere and almost everywhere with an ancient past, especially Africa.
the reason I personally burn bible is because
- I was given it and told it was the perfect word of god. yet it gives no credit and reference to the sources the root sources from. which much of its ideology comes. this is plagiarism. And because we still believe it is the unshakeable transcript of gods word, people will make up illogical crazy far out even self harming stories to validate the bible rather than just admit there was no day and night before the sun was created!!!! There was no ancient snake which spoke Hebrew! The black people of Ham are not cursed for an eternity.... I mean really!? Did god put that in or did man? We just gonna let this book Shit on us like that and say God meant it.
- I am fully aware of the council of nicea in Rome where the Babylonians pick and chose and clearly edited books to go in the final copy of the bible. well what about the other books? being Rastas nobody can refute the authenticity of the kebra negast..... and many other books. POINT IS if i give you a book which the POPE choses to hold for hundreds of years before releasing it and the pope tells you he promises he didnt 'change' a word - are we as conscious people REALLY going to believe this?
- when I look to the ancients. the people of Kemet. the nazarites of Israel. historically, these stories cannot be misinterpreted. yet when the same stories are told biblically -and not historically - look at the amount of confusion and different interpretations. this was purposely done and this is what happens with allegorical writing. look how many wars have been faught and people dead through this book. please think about this. I don't deny there is good in the bible. but so many people dead.... so much misinterpretation.... is there no other means of getting 'good' knowledge?
- if we deal with the incients. what were they doing without or before the bible? are they damned to hell? what was there livity? the unsuprising thing is many ancient practices are relived through the livity and ideology of rastafari that has Nothing to do with what rasta read in bible. there is more to this ting!
Now in reference to Jah and tHe bible he clearly used:
For me the ultimate analogy is: if your mother is not a rasta and she has a different 'religion' to you.... does that mean you do not love / cherish and follow your mother? can this only be done if you both share the same religion?
lastly, haile selassie religion does not in any way, teach haile selassie is the almighty. and he uses the same book. are people saying they interpret the book better than Jah? because through his interpreting is not the same as rasta interpretation.
So if through the bible and only through the bible haile selassie is jah. But haile doesn't interpret it this way, who we call god. Then are you disagreeing with god and his interpretation of his own book? You see the confusion?
ThEre is MORE than bible out there
so if it's going to be a stagnant point, where our logical thinking stops and stagnates due to this book. then I will unapologetically burn this book. I can still read every book in the bible, but this collection put together by Rome - I man burn.
JC is a next reasoning. we don't see any reference to the name Jesus (but we do see Christ) outside the bible. but this is a next reasoning.

To beat home the point, LASTLY:
I, as Rasta, am the IRIGINAL MAN. Therefore i represent the Ancestors from allegorical Adam/Eve right down to the I. We are ONE. I represent one and i represent the holy trinity set by my parents and so on down the line. I represent the IRIGINAL man, and every Incient since then.
The IRIGINALS or the INCIENTS (many / most of them) DID NOT HAVE OR USE ANY BIBLE............... Please consider and reason over this.
Secondly, the Bible is one of the LAST texts / sources you want to use when learning or studying (not that its necessary) the Incients.
Just overs the concept....... you dont have to agree.
I represent 55 million. I cannot do this when limited to the Bible and Christian realm.
