He also mentions that despite having many bible versions and translations the WORD remains one and the same and can never change. He says he has found refuge in the bible during his troubles and adds that the bible is the rallying point for all humanity. He says that unless one accepts the bible and its great message one cannot hope for salvation. He adds that personally He glories in the bible.

God came to us to show us the way of true life, to follow christ is the way. Well, the bible might have been translated to keep black man in darkness but Holy Emmanuel I, son of the most high God, sets the record straight regarding the crucifiction. He says He was crucified in Jamaica, at Maypen cemetry[place of skull-Golgotha] on tuesday, spent three days and three nights under the earth (as Jonah in the belly of the fish) and rose on friday night [friday-night-saturday] to meet His Sabbath. Iman agree with Him for its totally pointless for the Lord of the Sabbath(creator of the Sabbath rest) to miss the sabbath Himself.

But clearly the emperor is not a blind follower of religious doctrine.There are things he did and said that show that he didnt obey whatever the bible said neither agreed with all of its message.

The emperor is a christian but he never turned the other cheek when attacked by europe,he fought back.

He would never look down on other paths or consider people who worship idols as 'heathen' who deserve death.No,he said that everyone has the right to worship as they please.

Another example is wealth being considered evil and the camel walking through a needle hole thing...
Wich again is contrary to what he said about wealth and himself being on the ethiopian money at that time.

Just think about all the harm and all the slavery religion and bible has been used for in history and still is used to divide and conquer.

We cannot hide or try to justify the wickedness in the bible.
A God who hardens pharaos heart to show his miracolous power by slaying innocent babies is not the God that anyone can consider a blessed God if we are to be honest to ourselves.

To me Rastafari is not necessarily related to anything biblical or religious.I see it as a cause of much confusion among people.

I agree with the I, brethren. I too find some things unacceptable in the bible, like the cruel treatment of a slave by the master, still, the bible has a great message, if read from a conscious perception. It prophesies of the coming of HIM Haile Selassie I,, Holy Imanuel I and Marcus Garvey. Peace and love from the father.

I find that the current bible versions contains both truths and lies(propaganda) and its not in its original form. its been mixed up and manipulated, but still, as Father Selassie I says, Word remains one and true.

You have just said you acknowledge the bible contains lies propaganda and has been altered by people other than the original authors and we don't have any originals.

Yet still, it remains true?

For A to be correct how you gone jump to conclusion B?

The Bible is not an authorative book of accurate truths and facts. Where they may be some truths within, they are also everything you mentioned. Where there may be portions which reveal 'righteousness' and may have been written with good intentions.... They are portions which clearly demonstrate wickedness. To suggest the bible has but one message is foolish: that would be like reading a complete library written over hundreds of years apart and asking if one got 'the' message. Which message? It would be better to deal with the books individually as they clearly were not written by the same person.

Q: you believe Moses wrote the 1st five? How did he include his death? How did a 80 year old man lead a group Through the desert for 40 years and then some? How are we to overstand he received the commandments by God speaking to him in the desert when he was schooled in all the knowledge of Egypt and they so closely resemble the longstanding pre existing negative confessions? Coincidence? Why is there no evidence of such events in Egypt? Was this all a fabricated story with a particular meaning behind it or was this meant to be facts? If the former, what was the intended meaning? Other than a displeasure for Egypt / AFRICANS? Why were soooo many of the later Kings of Israel so infactuated with Kemetic spirituality if it was so wrong? Why you accept a book claiming AFRICANS are hamites and cursed? And don't expect AFRICANS to say dem will burn the bible completely?

People read the bible and barely agree with one another, even within Rastafari.

I guess the 'word' is not so easy to interpret from the mixup after all. And none of the words came from I Father. I ancestors didn't speak them language.

increases with the passage of time. All through my troubles I have found it a cause of
infinite comfort.

rest" who can resist an invitation so full of compassion?
Because of this personal experience in the goodness of the Bible, I was resolved that all my
countrymen should also share its great blessing and that by reading the Bible they should find
truth for themselves. Therefore, I caused a new translation to be made from our ancient
language into the language which the old and the young understood and spoke.
Today man sees all his hopes and aspirations crumbling before him. He is perplexed and knows
not whither he is drifting. But he must realise that the Bible is his refuge, and the rallying
point for all humanity. In it man will find the solution of his present difficulties and
guidance for his future action, and unless he accepts with clear conscience the Bible and its
great Message, he cannot hope for salvation. For my part I glory in the Bible."

I believe the King's translation is the ultimate Word. I am yet to lay my hands on it, but still, I will have to study and overstand amharic, before I can read it, for its written in amharic. Unfortunately where Iman settle I have no knowledge of any amharic school or teachers that can help Iman.

You say 'The Kings translation' - you realise HIM did none of the translating? He authorised a translation from a team of 'researchers.' And what were they translating from? More translations. I would rather that over the KJV tho!
