Garveys Africa, the I said, "I also think you agree with me much more than you may know". I do sight from the Reasonings that we are in agreement on multiple things. It is the way you communicate your message that sometimes bothers I. A person can point out things in the Bible that should rightly be questioned, without mocking the Bible or being condescending towards people who read the Bible, as if they are lower than you because they still find value in the Bible. I don't know if you somehow can't see that you come off that way, but you do. Even though the I has expressed that you recognize that the Bible has some good teachings, and you still respect people that deal with the Bible, the way you communicate makes it appear that you don't. Sometimes when you say something in a positive light, immediately after, as part of the same thought, the I says something negative. This has the effect of almost negating the positive thing you said, and even makes the negative statement have a worse effect than if it was just said alone. That is just one example of the kind of things you do that will give the I harsh responses instead of a listening ear.
When I Reason, I don't want to just blow breath. If I words will not be at least processed, than it would be better to spend I energy on something else. So I think about who I am speaking to when I speak, and their state of mind, their mood, whether they are in a defensive state, and any other relevant factors, so I can express Iself in a way that they will hear it and not just close their ears.
Haile Selassie I shows by his Example, Teachings and the laws he passed that He can think outside of the Bible, and has carried the Good in the Bible into His Ways, but doesn't follow any wicked or foolish examples. Even though Haile Selassie I Lives so, he still speaks so highly of the Bible, and even calls it the rallying point of all humanity. And when you insult or belittle people who glory in the Bible, it feels like an insult to Haile Selassie I. I know that this is not your intention, but that is how your approach will be perceived by many.
