As far as my readings Small Axe is refering to the big 3 record companies or rather producers? studios? not remembering exactly. Not sure where I read this think it was in one of Marley's biographies. As far as the meaning of reggae, I have heard about that translation but I also overstand that there is some disagreement about the meaning, different rasta had different translation. Maybe the I can point to scripture that gives that translation. I have read different things, including the 1 the I gave. Blessings, Bergy

From the latin, like the word "regal". But the point is that HIM is the king of kings. So the African tradition is all about kings. So if reggae is rastafari music then it is the same thing as saying it is for the king. Rastafari tradition means king tradition. And the knowledge of rastafari is about seeing the truth that INI are kings.
