Working for Babylon?!?!?!

There are two things you can do;
You can choose to stop working for Babylon and start serving Jah,
or you can choose to continue working for Babylon!
Because you can not serve two masters, seen?

But whilst you are still working for Babylon, you can draw more and more closer to Jah by smoking marijuana everyday, reading the Scriptures everyday, and praying everyday!

Seen?

If ones Irits and livity were strong enough then it wouldnt matter where ones trod and how they made a living. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego walked through the fire and didnt get burned. InI can live in Babylon and through the blessings of Selassie I not be corrupted by it. InI are not of this world!

Bless

Yes I, a significant issue in today's world. Every nation has drank the maddening wines of Babylon's adulteries. The serpent has spread its heads across the Earth, alluring the multitudes with promises of material well-being. Youths are going astray learning the ways of industry before HIStory. But this is not how it has always been, as the Rootsmen should know very well. Growing up in in babylon all over the world is not easy. But INI all can appreciate Jah blessings and utilize the opportunities given to we, in order to teach the babylonians by INI actions the virtuous path presented before we on each day. With every day comes a new slate to establish I fate. NO ONE SHOULD "WORK FOR BABYLON" but if working in babylon contributes to world integrity and improves people spiritually, then I see all roads of righteousness leading to the same destination. --->No matter what our "job" is, our DUTY remains the same. And this entails manifesting Jah livity and leading we known selves to do what is honorable in every possible situation. No matter where INI are, we receptors remain intact as long as we service the High livity with daily ITAL, MEDITATION, AND PRAYER. This will bring joy no matter how much babylon destruction surrounds we, for INI know this is but a temporary situation (this material existance). So I strive to spend it giving thanks and in return I experience the blessings of the High trod.
May Jah bless I Brethren and Sistren all over the Earth,
and may those in babylon feel the comfort of these blessings

Iman Bo,

You are very wise, I can tell by the way you meditate and chant!
Particularly, I like the reasoning you recently made on this thread!

You spoke the truth when you said this situation in which people are taught industry before history is temporary!
I agree, because in the beginning we were free before the slave masters came, so it is not normal to look for employment, rather it was made to look normal by Babylon and many youths never stop to think about it, instead, they simply accept it as the normal and natural way of life; which is foolishness!

And you are very correct when you say that no one should work for Babylon!
You see, when I first saw this topic, I was surprised at how someone could openly declare that they work for Babylon; that's why I first responded like:

"Working for Babylon?!?!?!"

Seen?

Work

The Lion of Judah has prevailed
Haile Selassie I, Elect of God
King of Kings of Ethiopia

Every labourer is a father, his labour is his child. Choose your project carefully and achieve it worthily.

Once a person has decided upon his life work and is assured that in doing the work for which he is best endowed and equipped, he is filling a vital need, what he then needs, is faith and integrity, compiled with courageous spirit so that no longer preferring himself to the fulfilment of his task, he may address himself to the problems he must solve in order to be effective.

Rich and poor have always existed and always will.

Why? Because there are those that work and those that don't, those that wish to earn their living and those that prefer to do nothing.

Those that work, that want to work, are not poor. For it is true that Our Lord the Creator sends us into the world as equals, but it is also true that when one is born one is neither rich nor poor. One is naked.

It is later on that one becomes rich or poor, according to one's desserts.

Yes, we too are aware that giving alms serves no useful purpose. For there is only one means to solve the poverty problem. work.

We have said that whoever doesn't work because he doesn't want to is poor. We have said that wealth has to be gained through hard work. We have said those who don't work starve. And now We add that the capacity to earn depends on the individual: Each individual is responsible for his misfortunes, his fate. It is wrong to expect help to fall from above, as a gift: Wealth has to be deserved. Work is one of the commandments of Our Lord the Creator!

If each and everyone endeavours to cooperate and work in as much as his capacity permits, our faith rests upon the Almighty God that he would bless the results for us.

It is not sufficient simply to see and admire the natural beauty and fertility of Ethiopia.

It is our obligation to work upon and benefit from this country whose fertile soil has been granted us by the Almighty God. We have to gain honour and pride for the country.

Whatever the task may be, man may begin it but he cannot complete it, unless God sustains and supports him. If he fails to accomplish the task on which he has set out, having worked to the best of his ability, he is not to be maligned by being called lazy.
