Pumpkin Leaves Stew -ingredients: pumkin plants shoots, groud peanuts, onion, tomato, pepper, cloves garlic, ginger, chili, carrot, potato.
I go to d garden n get some fresh n youg leaves of pumkin by cutin d shoots. Remove d hairy skin of d stems, den cut d leaves, garlic n ginger into small peaces. Grind peanuts into a fine pouder. Boil carrot n potato in pot with little water. When potato n carrot start to get soft add d pumkin leaves, ginger, garlic n ground peanuts. If no water add some n cover. De heat itinue. Chop onion, chili n red pepper. Add in d cookin pot n mix with a spoon. After few minutes it will softer. Add ripe tomato den leav it fo a minute. Reduce d heat n leav fo anada minute den remove from fire. Dis type of ital stew can b eaten with rice, corn porridge or boiled cassava. Yes I.

Basic Banana bread.

up to you how many bananas you want,

basic guide,
-400g Organic Wholemeal flower , Try to get wholemeal instead of plain white.
-i normaly like 3 bananas, adding more just increases the taste of banana which you cant realy complain about, if you enjoy bananas. (Because you are using bananas you dont need butter, when i started making banana bread i was using soya butter from the store but its nice to now know that you dont need butter, because the bananas are sticky enough) (to make the bananas get more sticky you can just mash it with a thork, or use a blender so the bananas turn out liquid, then you just add that straight to the flour).
-its up to you how you want to cook it, you can Fry it with vegetable oil, or you can cook in the oven, again it is up to you if you wish to add bakeing power, as i am away bakeing power is a natural product, this will make it rise.
-you can add sugar if wanted, if so i would say get granulated cane sugar, or a better option Organic black strap. this aint really nessesary because the bananas are sweet their selfs, also if you use really ripe bananas they will be even more sweeter.

now what i like to sometimes is mashup some bananas maybe 1/2 add maybe 10g flour very small amount, and then i would add some oats to that untill they stick together nicely,(not to bananary)if you know what i mean,(sticky). form to a nice flat size and fry, Very Tastey, ofcourse you can add other fruit to it, (nuts are very nice in it aswell) Enjoy

As I see, most of the recipes listed on this thread are of very little help to ordinary and common people of the society,
Seems that they help those who run restaurants, and not the poor ghetto youth who is trodding Rastafari, because in almost every recipe I have seen more than half of the ingredients ain't affordable for the poor, seen?

Would be more helpful and worthy to be kept on top of the list if basic recipes are posted!

And those who think that cucumbers are part of the forbbiden vine are just taking it too far, with a bit of misunderstanding!
As I see, it's only the grapevine that is forbbiden, seen?

And one of my favourite meals;
Ingredients: 1 cup sweet beans, 1 cup long grain rice, 1 bundle green vegetables, 1 medium sized onion, no tomatoes, 2 teaspoons of salt, half cup of cooking oil.

Method: simply boil the soaked beans for about 20 min, while frying the chopped onion in an uncovered pan, add salt and pour the fried onions into the boiling beans and simmer for less than 10 min at high heat. Cook the rice, and the green vegetables. And finally serve about three portions!

No salt brother. Salt is not ital. Salt is harmful to de body. Most cooking oil is also not ital. Ones who like usin cooking oil should go fo oils dat are only physicaly extracted from plants (e.g. extra virgin olive oil). I n I here use groundnuts instead of cookin oil. Baking powder is also not ital. Ital is vital. Blessed love.
