The soul is what gives life to the body. The organs are living and life sustaining. When a person passes flesh, the soul leaves the body and all body parts.. Now, if during the death process organs are harvested; the soul cannot properly leave the still living body part.. This to me is an example of how 'purgatory' is possible.. The soul consciousness residing in between realms, stuck there until the death process is complete.. I would not accept fetal tissue to slightly prolong my material life or donate my body to slightly prolong another's.. Just my thoughts.

Bless
One Love.

give thanks! very interesting.

but i dont know. do you really think that somebody has to walk around like an invisible ghost as long as theres a person on earth that lives with your kidney or something like that?

but your argument makes me rethink it. i mean i believe in jah. and i think this its just an act of charity. even none of the world religions is officially against it. i dont want to say that i follow them or trust them but i cant imagine that there is an universal law like this and jah would want us to live like ghosts because of that.

i think one fatal way of trying to exist physically as long s possible is to have a huge, impressive grave. to me its not about how long you are able to be present or remembered physically but i think we as human beings can help each other and i dont know if certain surgeries are an act of sin.

i dont know. have to think about it. but its strange that the state wants us to do it so bad.

Ital livity is not de nazerite vow. They are two different things. Nuff people confuse de two. As far as Ital livity is concerned deh 's nothing wrong with eating fresh grapes since its ital, but alcoho, chemicals & animal products are not ital so dem are considererd bad fo de body. Ital man is a natural true vegetarian. De trod is Ital livity. It is more than de diet, it includes even de way one take care of I's body & thinkin. It is ancient livity. Ital man is enlightened upfull man. Bless I

i think after my vow i might eat products with vinegar again.

i think somebody has even mentioned that vinegar wouldnt be ital in this thread. but i mean moslems who really care about their food and who arent allowed to let only a few drops of alcohol into their bodies say its halal. its allowed to eat those things. its not even like drinking a fermanted drink.

so i think this must be connected to the nazarite vow. i know some rastas dont follow the vow like its mentioned in the bible for example but they justify certain parts of their ital lifestyle and their dreadlocks with it but i think it isnt a must to avoid using vigear for life, no? i shouldnt think of those products all day while following the vow but i dont know if its bad if i follow the vow and reset myself and to start from scratch in a certain way and to use it afterwards after all is said and done.

vinegar alone is no sin. am i right? i man i dont want to eat salat with tons of vinegar but i think of eating mustard and certain soy products again.

I wouldn't drink vinegar, really. I think it is very acidifying for the body, and it is fermented.

Some ideas for adding flavour to meals;

1) (I make this on a regular basis) Blend in equal proportions garlic and olive oil, in a blender to make a garlic paste. Keep in fridge. Best to make enough for 1 week max, and then make it fresh again.

2) You can buy dried mixed herbs, from various places. Make sure that the herbs are the only ingridients.

3) Hemp oil offers a very rich and nutty flavour, and can be poured over something to give it flavour.

4) Curry spices. The traditional mix of curry spices is completely Ital, and actually very good for the body. But be careful, i'm not referring to curry powders with loads of stuff added; I'm talking about perhaps the dried herbs, crushed (or powdered), with an ingridients list something like;

Coriander, turmeric, chilli, mustard seed, cumin seed, fenugreek, garlic, ginger, fennel.

I avoid ones with added anything, salt or otherwise.

All the best,

Joe

thanks!

like ive said. right now i avoid it too. but i dont know if its necesarry to avoid it for live. thats what i have to think about. what do i have to change after my vow?

thanks for your selection of herbs. i already use some of them.

i wouldnt buy vinegar itself. the fresher the better. i think a good salat doesnt need it. i only think about certain products that contain a minimum of it. like ive said. it is even halal.

i dont know whats the problem about fermentation itself. i mean fermented juices are on a level of 0,5 % alcohol. some alcoholics even say they cant drink it because it reminds them of cocktails.
even limonade is a strong drink to me. "strong drinks" are part of the nazarite vow too according to some translations.

im not god. but maybe the whole concept of the nazarite vow is to avoid eating something from the grapevine to stay as far away from wine and alcoholic drinks as possible. i think its also said that grapes are a special blessing of god.

but the process of fermentation alone is not only found in the productions of strong drinks, juices and alcohol. they also use it fro certain foods.

even things like sauerkraut are fermentaded. tofu is fermanted soy drink, right? cocoa is fermanted...

until now i have avoided to eat grapes and each and every products which is made of things from grapevine (all of the chemicals too), dried or fresh, (single grapes or as part of bread or other products...) and i didnt drink anything else but water.

you have to stop to EAT everything thats made of grapes or vinegar and you cant DRINK fermanted drinks. but i guess i can eat tofu because its not a drink altough it is fermanted. it has nothing to do with grapes and it is absolutely halal.

Reasoningtime. Dis thread is about Ital cooking not nazerite, not halal. I told yu fresh grapes is ital. Viniger is not ital. Why can't yu reason about nazerite on de nazerite thread & start a halaal thread of yu want to discuss dat? Don't divert de topic.

Right. Salat and Halal, Nazarite and Levitical dietary law have no place in the thinking for an Italist discussing his pot. None of dem are Ital
