Alright, I can understand that porn is negative and a form of prostitution, but still, why are some people here so negative about masturbation?
Please understand that I'm not after talking you into start doing it, I just want to point out that I really don't see it as something wrong, like many people here do.
The need to ejaculate for men and have an orgasm (for both women and men) is as natural as the need to urinate for example. I mean, would "wet dreams" exist if there was no real need for men to ejaculate? Well, anyway, the basis of my argument is that: who do I hurt if I masturbate? What is really negative about it? And some people might call it "sexual immorality" or whatever, but please, show me a passage in the Bible that specifically tells us that masturbation is a "sexual sin".
Really, the basis of morality is what is positive and what is negative, if something you do is helping or hurting. And I don't see how masturbation is hurting anyone.
I think this whole attitude that our sexuality should not be seen as anything but a means to have children is detrimental to our health. I think that to see sexuality as something that cannot be separated from the purpose of having children is really seeing our sexuality as the sexuality of an animal.
