but the i is not entirely wrong, since its a bit hard to try and translate Amharic exactly as it is into english, and i have many times heard the translation that you mention

Shall we try and compile a list of all the greetings of all African languages?

I reckon if we all research it, we will get a good long list going..?

Then people who visit can add if there are ones we haven't got.
