Greetings,

This is from the Kebra Negast:

105. Concerning the belief of ABRAHAM

And thou dost not understand that they were justified by faith-ABRAHAM, and DAVID and all the Prophets, one after the other, who prophesied concerning the coming of the Son of God. And ABRAHAM said, "Wilt Thou in my days, O Lord, cast Thy word upon the ground?" And God said unto him, "By no means. His time hath not yet come, but I will shew thee a similitude of His coming. Get thee over the JORDAN, and dip thyself in the water as thou goest over, and arrive at the city of SLM, where thou shalt meet MELCHIZEDEK, and I will command him to show thee the sign and similitude of Him." And ABRAHAM did this and he found MELCHIZEDEK, and he gave him the mystery of the bread and wine,2 that same which is celebrated in our Passover for our salvation through our Lord JESUS CHRIST. This was the desire and the joy of ABRAHAM as he went round the altar which MELCHIZEDEK had made, carrying branch and palm on the day of the Sabbath. See how he rejoiced in his belief, and see how he was justified by his belief, O blind JEW, who though having eyes seest not, and having ears hearest not, even as the Prophet ISAIAH saith concerning you, "Their eyes are blind, and their hearts are covered with darkness, so that they may not understand and God may not show compassion unto them."3

Melchizedek is also mentioned in Hebrews 7:

Hebrews 7

Some RasTafarI that I have reasoned with in the past have a phrase that say "move like Melchizedek". What they mean when they say this, is to trod through creation in a mystical way so nobody can see I and I movements.

he was a dark guy anyway and he did heat honey and drank milk too
incarnation of vishnu (word)

jesus is the second.

baby pictures of tafari and paintings of young krishna show striking resemblance.

the bread given to abraham was also what we call in trinidad sada roti

Hebrews 7
1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.
10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

greets Bredren and Sistren,

From I overstanding, Melchezidek is eternal, without mother or father or lineage. It is a priesthood authority that is conferred to one by the SPIRIT alone, no man can give the priesthood to another. To 'move like Melchezidek' is to be present fully in the spirit.
Like it say in Hebrews- If perfection can be found in the Levitical priesthood, why would there be the Melchezidek?? Because the Levitical was done away with. Yes? Also because any change in priesthood means a change in the Law. seen- for Yeshua in the flesh was not of the Aaronic or Levitical line. But the ITERNAL LINE of the the Most High from all time and eternity and for Ivermore. For this shows InI that it is not I linegae that open JAH gates unto I spirit but the commitment of spirit and life lived in HIS spirit on Earth. Or as it say in Hebrews "but by virtue of the power of an indestructible life" meaning for InI that are able to overcome the destructive influence of babylon and satan reign, that life eternal is possible.
Also, this priesthood is unperishable. It will never be done away with and it's holders will never die off. Melchezidek in the flesh is alive today, holding mystical knowledge for revealation and direction in due season.
This is all the basic overstanding of the apostacy.....which proves infallibaly that the catholic order cannot be physically possible. I never overstand hows millions of catholics and the like can refuse this simple, plain and OBVIOUS teaching of the apostacy. It happened. It fell. It is written. No longer is man dependant on man to connect with the Most High-------
But it does leave the question of baptism and marriage. Who holds the priesthood to perform these acts fully in the name of the Most High??? I can go out and dunk I youth in the river--- recieting the versus I know. But I do not hold a fullness of AUTHORITY TO ACT IN THE NAME OF JAH- which is what 'priesthood' means. But again, as stated in Hebrews 11= Only faith can guarantee the blessings that InI hope for, or prove the existence of realities that are unseen.
Blessed,
Sis April

Isus was both, from the line of David and Aaron!
John the Baptist was the son of a Jerusalem Priest, his mother was a relative to the mother of Isus.
