You don't know Haile Selassie I. Selassie I didn't execute anybody for being muslim. The people who were muslim and fought against RasTafarI were dealt with accordingly, not because they were muslim, but because they were fighting against His Imperial Majesty.
Go to the Haile Selassie I speeches section of this website and read all of the speeches you see there, so you can see what kind of God RasTafarI is.

I don't know what scholars you are refering to, or if you are refering to muslim invaders in only certain regions, but that statement does not seem true. Speak to more people who have been downpressed by muslim downpressors throughout many centuries and you will see the part that you don't know.
I know of stories of forced conversion or death, throwing babies in the air and letting them land on swords or spears. Burning people alive for refusal. And many other wickedness as well. These stories span many centuries.
There are righteous people and groups of people who are muslims, just as there are righteous people and groups of people who are from any colour, nationality or religion. And there are wicked people that call themselves muslims, just as there are wicked people that are from any colour, nationality or claimed religion.
