Thank you for the response in the other thread. No need for forgiveness...I just wanted to make sure that I did not insult you in any way. There was an older Rastawoman that used to live here in Fresno. She grew up in the 60's, "been there done that" and it was always good to hear her viewpoint as she had much more experience than me.
As for the sacrament, I partake everyday. I do agree with Mutabaruka, though, about dispelling the lie that Rastafari is a drug religion...it seems that is what most people focus on when thinking of a Rasta, herb and dreadlocks and reggae music. I know more than a few Ras who do not partake at all, and some who do all day everyday. My only concern is the focus others have regarding Rasta, and then when you tell them about HIM, or that Rastas read the Bible, or Ethiopia, African issues etc. they seemed suprised.
