greetings, so i have caucasian hair, i have left it for 4 months havent combed it just ital shampoo very little tho, and some aloe vera to wash it. last week i braided it alittle with my hands, but i had a shower then the next morning it went back to normal. does that mean my crown wont be natural since i braided it(but it didnt take), what are the idrens ans sistrens thoughts??

It is good just keep washing and dont brush,comb or cut your hair. Keep it natural and maintain it thorough. And if your hair start to lock u can choose for yourself if you want to separate them or just keep them 100 percent natural and unseparated. But why did you braid them actually? Thats not good just dont touch it locks and braids are 2 different things. Just dont do anything except washing and separate if you want thats it. No palm-rolling and that kind of things. Just have patience and stay irie. It doesnt matter if you have straight hair or any colour or texture hair your hair will lock naturally over time.

yes i braided some after 4 months of not combinng , but the next morning the ones that were braided went back to normal they didnt stay

Ooh okay but why did you do that? Braids and locks are really different and when you braid it doesnt "dread" faster or something. Braiding doesnt affect the progress and it even can untangle some hair so it is working backwards when u want to lock.

ooh because my hair already had its sectioning by its self, i thought the little bit of braiding would keep the shape. do you think i can still call them natural or not?

yeahman i was just being inpatient, and i want locks, but i thought braiding some would keep the shape, but they didnt, anyway from now iman am not touching them, just washing them and letting them grow..so will they still be natural/natty?

Ooh seen man seen. Now i know what your point was of the braiding part. And yes man you can still call them natural because you grow natty locks in the Ital manner. So just keep washing and dont comb,brush or cut your hair man. Do you separate your locks or do you keep them 100 percent natural ( unseparated )?

nice irie. As of now i have not separated any of them. I use aloe vera gel sometimes as shampoo and i only use cold water to wash my hair, its healthier for the hair, i think...

Yes i keep on washing and i recommend to not separate your locks but its your choice. Also try to wash with warm water because it is not unhealtier for your hair. Cold water is not healtier its just the same but warm water gets dirt out easier. If you wanna try it dont use too hot water because thats not good. Just a little bit warm water is good.
