Soe, I have had an experience that I want to share with you:
A dear friend of mine asked me to go to the hospital with her to visit her mother. Her mother was in the hospice section of the hospital, so you know what that means. So when we went in, I began reading some bible scripture to her, favorite scripture I knew she would like. I knew this because we worshipped at the same church. Then I started singing one of her favorite hymnals... and that's when it happened.
Soe, I'm not making this up, it really happened. Suddenly, a light appeared at the top of her head. It began to spread and outline her whole body. First her face, then her arms, then all the bedding until everything was golden!!!
Zoe, my mouth dropped open. I stopped singing because I was in such awe. I said to my friend: Edith, can you believe this, oh look how beautiful!!!
What are you talking about she said?
What do you mean, "What am I talking about?" I replied. "Look at your mother."
"I am looking at my mother," she said.
So I turned to look at Edith. And I said, "Tell me you don't see that light round about your mom!"
And she said, "What light? Chica, there is no light."
Then I turned my head back towards her mother's bed, and the light was gone.
Then Edith said: "Chica, why is one of your earrings silver and the other one gold?"
And I replied: "Edith, both of my earrings are silver! I'm not wearing gold earrings."
You see, the side of my body that was next to her mother's bed reflected the light via the earring I was wearing. So Edith did see the gold light reflected in my earring!
So we left the hospital, after saying a prayer with her mother. Later that evening, Edith called me to tell me her mother had passed.
Soe, what was I seeing? I never had this experience before.
The light was sooooo beautiful and I wasn't afraid at all. I felt a wonderful sense of peace and joy. And I remember my spirit saying, "Yes, Chica, Jah is real!"
Just wanted to share that with you. Oh, what a mighty powerful Jah we serve! Blessings...
