Just a thought...
There is necessity to bring teachings in a cooperative way to the mainstream, this will benefit all. Children's books, speakers, poetry, perhaps utilizing the "green" movement set in place. Replacing the utilitarian value system set in place by church and state with the partnership model I see in the way of living offered by Rastafari; a simpler, kinder way. This means we make way to teach in a peaceful, nonthreatening way.
What do you think?
As a solo parent of a youth I want my son to have more resources and a kinder, gentler, certainly more intelligent, empathic place to rest his head, amongst youth also entertained by enlightened teachings.
I find a place to teach some of the men that I work with to hear their 'inner lion' in a respectful way. I can see this in a picture book for the youth.
