Greetings,

I wanted to know what people think about the importance of livity.

Some people don't put much emphasis on livity because they say that it is not necessary because they are saved by Christ. And they say that since everyone sins, then it is not even a possibility to be without sin, so all they have to do is try their best and ask forgiveness.

I personally feel that livity is a must. When I and I are with RasTafarI, I and I are no longer under the law, but the law is established. The way I see this, is that when I and I are living One with RasTafarI, then I and I ways will be directed by Jah. And Jah would never direct I and I into sin. So the reason I and I are not under the law is because there is no law against righteousness. The law is only there to point out wrong doing.

Also, when I read the words of Christ, I see that he says to us "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect". And there are so many other places in the Bible where Christ speaks about I and I living a strict, perfect way. Christ didn't regard all of the laws of Moses, because some were made by man. But Christ regarded all the ways of God, and showed the people that they must live in this way.

He even showed the people that it is not good enough to just stop committing sin. But he showed I and I that even if we think such things, then we have sinned already. So he taught I and I to be perfect also in our thoughts.

I would like to hear other people's reasoning about this.

Jah Blessings,

Ark I

Greetings Ark I .
Livity as i sight it up , its very important , even if is very difficult to reach the heights of the Livity I , in this babylon trap.
The thing is , we should try at least , try and try to stand on positive and solid ground , to follow the teachings and laws of Jah ,
natural laws , respect and love . Of course nobody is without sin , but we can strive fe perfection , cause we are manifestation of the Divinity (ises due to His Name ) .
The fact that we know Jah is a benevolent God and that He will show His Mercy on His children doesn't mean we should'nt strive fe livity , but exactly the contrary ina mi humble opinion ; knowing this we should try harder to follow the path of rightousness , with all our body , mind and soul . Jah knows and see everything , and most of all knows the heart of men ....so we can't go too far with bad intentions , youknow .

i&i give thanks fe the reasonin ,

JAHLOVE everytime ,

CYANT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER.......

Bless and idance one and all

When people reason with INI,and tell me that they are already saved,so therefore they can sin....{BRAINWASHED CHRISTIANS I DO CALL THEM}I tell them that it is a pack of bullshit..We are living right now,so therefore we must strive after righteousness and goodness now,try fe dimishe all bad things concerning yourself...Certainly,we as RasTafari`s,must live as good as possible by this livity, eventhough that aint easy all the time inna this Babylon democrazy we are livin in today,ye know

Livity is in i opinion a very important part of our faith.
INI as Rasta, and all i brethren an sistren, should set an example fe the Babylonians...Let them see how ye live, teach them the right, tell them bout the livity ye are living, time will bring one his glory...JAH sees and knows,....and so will the Babylonians
As for the Babylonians, them that nah wanna see and hear, nah worry bout that, them will hear and see finaly!!!!!!!

OneLove&Inity Blessed greetings

Jah has send us his divine son Yesos Kristos to teach I and I the law of our god and king.

livity to I means to transpose these law in our daily life.surely it is hard to do inna babylon, but as we know about this fact we still have to try our best with our heart our soul our mind.

Jah divine livity is the only way to stand inna babylon and to enter Zion gates on the day of I and I salvation, there is no other way to choose then to live righteous, conscious clean and humble.

no man is free of any sin, but we all must learn not to commit more sin,and this process of learning can only effort if we do our best to obey Jah commandments and to live a lif of righteousness and justice.

Jah chidren have to respect the laws of the heathen, but we can show babylon that the right way can only be Jah righteouss way, so that one day all mankind will face a brighter day

Greetings,

Nobody is free from sin, but that doesn't mean we can't be.

This statement is just a reflection of reality. Because if I and I look around us or within ourself, I and I can see that it is true that no one is free from sin.

But this statement shouldn't be seen as a limit. Because with Jah, every single one of us can be free from sin. Jah is capable of doing this. So I and I have to rise I and I mind above "try", and only see "do". Because "try" still holds doubt.

If our faith is that I and I ways can't be accomplished completely in perfection, then it will never be accomplished. But if our faith is that it will be accomplished, then this is truth and I and I ways will be perfected by Jah.

And it makes no difference how I and I lived in the past, because Jah forgives all iniquity of those that turn to him. The requirement of Jah is for I and I to live in his way, today, and in the future. He doesn't require this from the past. So as long as I and I have breath in our body, I and I is still given the opportunity to turn to Jah, and be One with Jah.

In Ezekiel it says,
---------------------------------------
Ezekiel 18
[14] Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like,
[15] That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour's wife,
[16] Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,
[17] That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.
[18] As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.
[19] Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.
[20] The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
[21] But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
[22] All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
[23] Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
[24] But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
[25] Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
---------------------------------------

Jah has no limits. So I and I have no limits unto righteousness if I and I are with Jah.

Blessed Love,

One love to all Jah children.

PSALM 19 ...The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether...

Jah law is perfect and so shall we be when we follow it.
You are right when you say that there are no limits in Jah, so that there can't be limits in I and I.
And as his laws are converting the soul of all mankind when they turn onto H.I.M.,the one who beliveth truely in God Jah Rastafari can accomplish any goal.
I absolutly do agree, too, when you say that we have to rise from trying on to doing. We must live a life as Rastafari taught us,no matter who or what tries to lead I an I astray.
We must avow our sin to the most high, and not commit any more sin.
It is the past from that we shall learn to live the present in righteousness so that we would have a place in Jah kingdom in the future.
Give thanks, Jah bless.

Said ini be honest to all for long time understandings like these were only said to be conceptions of propaganda to lead one man and all man to a destiny that is an abomination to creation spoken as a wise man says even as the words be anointed to me i am constantly being rotated from beging to end with knowledge. Yes brother been past time to stand up how many times may 5% control 95% it is until the 5% and the 95% are equal is that a proper equation? How is it possible for all things to be equal? know that Jah Ras-Ta-Fari in the physical sense of leaving words to be understood and the mystical sense of leaving ini the spirit of knowledge of self ones with marks in they heads will stand up now even while they sit

Haile Selassie I, Elect of God
King of Kings of Ethiopia

WE IN ETHIOPIA HAVE ONE OF THE OLDEST VERSIONS OF THE BIBLE, but however old the version may be, in whatever language it might be written, the Word remains one and the same. It transcends all boundaries of empires and all conceptions of race. It is eternal.

No doubt you all remember reading in the Acts of the Apostles of how Philip baptised the Ethiopian official. He is the first Ethiopian on record to have followed Christ, and from that day onwards the Word of God has continued to grow in the hearts of Ethiopians. And I might say for myself that from early childhood I was taught to appreciate the Bible and my love for it increases with the passage of time. All through my troubles I have found it a cause of infinite comfort.

"Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" who can resist an invitation so full of compassion?

Because of this personal experience in the goodness of the Bible, I was resolved that all my countrymen should also share its great blessing and that by reading the Bible they should find truth for themselves. Therefore, I caused a new translation to be made from our ancient language into the language which the old and the young understood and spoke.

Today man sees all his hopes and aspirations crumbling before him. He is perplexed and knows not whither he is drifting. But he must realise that the Bible is his refuge, and the rallying point for all humanity. In it man will find the solution of his present difficulties and guidance for his future action, and unless he accepts with clear conscience the Bible and its great Message, he cannot hope for salvation. For my part I glory in the Bible.
